History
Sasquatch's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's. When the Squadron Supreme and an army invaded the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia, Sasquatch and Alpha Flight fought them. During the fight, many of Alpha Flight's members were killed, including Guardian and Vindicator. So, Sasquatch looked after their daughter Claire who became the new Guardian. When the remaining members of Alpha Flight fought the Squadron Supreme, Alpha Flight's leader Weapon X was able to kill Hyperion of the Squadron. However, the rest of the Squadron dominated Alpha Flight with Power Princess overwhelming Sasquatch and damaging his left horn. Believing that their work was done, Shaman magically teleported himself and Alpha Flight to safety.
Two years later, the Squadron continued to raid Canada and hunt Alpha Flight to avenge Hyperion's death, forcing Alpha Flight to constantly move to avoid capture. He and his teammate Aurora also became romantically involved. Sasquatch was tired of the fighting and got into argument with Weapon X over his callous attitude over the Canadian citizens being arrested by the Squadron for helping them. After talking with Aurora, Sasquatch decided to leave and see if he could free any of the prisoners being held by the Squadron. He eventually made contact with the Squadron and made a deal with them: in exchange for handing over Weapon X to them, they would free Alpha Flight and their prisoners and leave Canada.
Sasquatch returned to Alpha Flight days later and told them a fake story of prisoners being moved to Ottawa. When Alpha Flight tried to free the so-called prisoner, they ended falling into a trap set up by the Squadron. A resurrected Hyperion battered Weapon X while Sasquatch restrained Shaman so he couldn't aid Weapon X with his magic. After Weapon X was dealt with, the Squadron left. Claire and Aurora berated Sasquatch for his treachery. Sasquatch justified it by stating that the Squadron would never stopping hunting them until Canada was in ruins and that they had already lost. Despite believing he did the right thing, Sasquatch felt deeply remorseful. Alpha Flight then disbanded.[1]
