Notes
- The interviewer who asks Wanda, "do you think maybe this is what you deserve?" is later revealed to be Agatha Harkness, but the voice actually does belong to Kathryn Hahn, just with a modified pitch to not be initially apparent.
- The series once again pulls voice-over dialogue from the film Captain Marvel. The voices Monica hears when re-entering the Hex are that of Akira Akbar as 11-year old Monica, Lashana Lynch as Maria Rambeau, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and Brie Larson as Captain Marvel / Carol Danvers. She also hears the voice of Dr. Highland from the fourth episode.
- Yo Gabba Gabba! plays on the television in Agatha's house.
- This episode has the first mid-credits sequence of WandaVision.
- A few end credits were changed this episode:
- Kathryn Hahn is now credited as Agatha Harkness, instead of Agnes.
- Kat Dennings is also credited as "The Escape Artist," which is her "character" within the Hex.
- Alan Hecker is now credited as "The Strongman," which is his "character" within the Hex, instead of Agent Monti.
- Amos Glick is now "Dennis the Delivery Man," instead of "Dennis the Mailman," signifying his change of occupation with the decades.
- Agatha's theme is titled "It Was ______ All Along" in the credits.
Trivia
- This episode pays homage to the mockumentary sitcoms of the late 2000s to early 2010s, such as Modern Family and The Office, wherein characters break the fourth wall and talk directly to the audience, as if on a documentary, to reveal their inner thoughts. The title of the episode also references this.
- The radio D.J., which is only seen in the Disney+ subtitles during the scene Wanda's preparing a bowl of cereal, is from the radio station W.N.D.A., which is presumably short for "Wanda".
- This episode's opening credits is inspired by the early 2010s sitcom Happy Endings, while the title card is similar to that of Modern Family.
- One of the images in the opening credits shows Wanda's name on a license plate with the numbers 122822, a reference to Stan Lee's birthday: December 28th, 1922.
- Agatha saying that she "did bite a kid once," could be a nod to how witches across media are depicted as child-eaters.
- The "Nexus" anti-depressant commercial could be a reference to Wanda from the comics being known as a "Nexus being," or a similarity across different universes/realities.
- Vision being blocked from returning to Westview by traffic and other random occurrences is an homage to a similar sequence in the film The Truman Show.
- Agatha's theme "Agatha All Along" draws inspiration from the theme of the 1960s sitcom The Munsters.
- Agatha remarks, "And I killed Sparky, too". This is a reference to the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, where the Wicked Witch of the West says, "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog, too!". Afterwards, she even laughs similarly to Margaret Hamilton's iteration of the Witch from that film.
