History
Meeting The Squad[]
Wanda, along with her brother Pietro, worked alongside their father Magneto as part of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Recruited by Doctor Doom to steal several Infinity Fractals from the Vault, the trio faced off against the Super Hero Squad. During the fight, Falcon's pet bird Redwing was injured by Magneto's powers, though Wanda used her powers to heal him. Introducing herself to the Squad after Magneto fled, she and Pietro were welcomed onto the Helicarrier for a tour, though the kindness they showed towards the Squad was ultimately revealed to be a ruse planned by Magneto, ensuring that they would have another chance to steal the Fractal.
After successfully stealing data on the Vault's clearance codes from the Helicarrier, the three made a second assault on it, and were successfully able to obtain the Fractals Magneto was seeking. However, during their fight with the Squad, Magneto showed little restraint in using his new powers, putting Falcon in danger. Infuriated that her father had broken his promise that no one would be hurt during their mission, Wanda tried to talk him down, taking off her mask to do so. Magneto relented somewhat, capturing Falcon and Redwing and bringing them back to Villainville.
After a meeting with their father, Wanda went to check on Falcon and Redwing, though she was forced to bring Pietro along with her. Falcon revealed that Magneto had lied to the two about his reason for seeking the Fractals, having claimed that they had been stolen from him. After Pietro learned that Falcon was telling the truth when he spied on Doom and his cronies, Wanda became furious, promising to help Falcon and Redwing escape as a means of spiting her father for trying to force her and Pietro into the "family business". After battling their way through an army of Doombots, the three escaped Villainville with the Fractals, returning them to the Vault. With their future uncertain, Wanda and Pietro said goodbye to the Squad, but not before Falcon told Wanda that she made "a pretty great hero"[1].
The Infinity Conflict[]
Later, it was revealed that Falcon had snuck Wanda into the Helicarrier, allowing her to live in his room in secret and train as a superhero. She would ultimately reveal herself to the team when she aided them in battle against Thanos, soon after becoming an official member.[2].
