History
The woman that would later adopt the "Warbird" alias was born to a Wakandan of the Jabari Tribe named Bosede and a Shi'ar Commander whose patrol was visiting Earth.[1]
Growing up, the "little Warbird" (as her mother called her) trained hard to live up to both her parents' cultures and even went on missions with them, but the Shi'ar had to return home eventually, and her mother left her with the Jabari. If losing one parent wasn't enough, her father also left to search for the mysteries of Sin-Cong, never to return. More focused than ever in becoming the best warrior possible, Warbird threw herself at her training and excelled at it, soon growing retractable wings that could help her in battle.[2][1]

Young Warbird
Once she reached adulthood, Warbird went looking for her father in Southeast Asia, eventually finding herself in Sin-Cong (now called Siancong).[1] While she was there, Lady Lotus erected a black dome around the whole country, killing everyone that came into contact with it. Warbird escaped the dome and witnessed the heroine Aero trying to go inside to help the people there. When Aero touched the dome, however, her hand began to decay and Warbird rushed to her help, being influenced by Threadneedle to seek out the help of a group of heroes standing by near their location.[3]
The heroes helped Aero, but were not very receptive to Warbird, who decided to keep her secrets and intentions to herself. When they were preparing to launch an assault, Aarkus used his smoke powers to assess Warbird's heart and vouched for her, much to Iron Man's reluctance.[4]
The heroes managed to infiltrate the dome and find Lady Lotus, but as they were close to victory, Warbird broke with the plan to attack Lotus personally and demand answers regarding her father's whereabouts. With more heroes getting out of formation, Lotus got the upper hand and captured the whole squad. As they were held in chains, Warbird shared her story with everyone and apologized for losing her temper. The heroes heard the whole story and then began plotting their escape, but no action was needed as Agent Melinda May and Powderkeg showed up to save the day.[5]
Finding themselves once again chased by Lotus' forces, they escaped through a mysterious gate[1] that took them to the "World Behind the Doors". There, Warbird finally got some closure as she discovered her father's corpse, still holding a Shi'ar gun (her mother's parting gift).[6]
Her activities after returning to Earth and defeating Lotus are unknown.[7]Personality
