History
The Warlock's Eye is a mystical weapon with the ability to cast powerful mind-controlling enchantments that very few can resist. It was used unsuccessfully by Harokin against Odin; Thor, and the Warriors Three during an invasion against Asgard.[1]
When Thanos joined the Galactic Council with the help of Perrikus, the Dark God provided him with the Warlock's Eye to help him propagate the paranoia against the Phoenix throughout the universe. The artifact also shielded Thanos from the Phoenix's telepathy, which allowed him to successfully hide from her.[2] This left the Phoenix to recruit the help of several of her allies to help her track him down, and during the confrontation one of her friends, lady Sif, used her sword to pierce the Warlock's Eye, destroying it.[3]Properties
