History

Deva was one of the Mutts, a gang of young mutant thugs who controlled the territory of Newark. They clashed often with Professor Xavier's X-Squad but during the assault of Dr. Doom and the Atlanteans the Mutts allied themselves with their rivals against the common enemies. After the fight Xavier offered to the Mutts to join X-Squad, but they refused.
