History
A Nazi spy undervoer as a British officer during WW2. When time-travellers from the future, including J. Jonah Jackal, were arrested and accused of being spies on a manned rocket, von Kampf decided to act because he knew that the Nazis had failed to develop manned rockets - so he wanted Jackal and his crew to fly the rocket back to Germany where it'd be reverse-engineered. Jackal recognized von Kampf as a Nazi spy, because Jackal had seen von Kampf's photo in a history book. Jackal was rescued by another time-traveller, Spider-Ham, who knocked down von Kampf and hung him from the Big Ben before restoring the time machine and going back home.[1]
Notes
This character's name is a joke: Kampf is German for "fight", famously used in Adolf Hitler's book title "Mein Kampf" ("my fight"), and the particle "von" for surnames can be translated as "of". "Waste" is not a German word, meaning "garbage" or "misuse". Thus, his name is "a waste of fight."
