History
On the Blue Area of Earth's moon, there is a Citadel that was originally the home of Uatu the Watcher.[1] The Watcher kept dangerous items of power inside it. Also, he had devices that enabled him to view alternate realities at his leisure.[2][3]
Following the Watcher's death,[4] Nick Fury succeeded him as the Unseen though the Citadel was left in ruins.[5] The Watcher was later revived and restored the Citadel.[6] The Moon was destroyed during the Reckoning War,[7] and the Watcher brought it back at the end, giving his old home to Nick Fury for good.[8] This did not last very long though, and Fury passed it down to his son Nick Fury, Jr.[9]
Alternate realities[]
Earth-9047[]
The Watchit does not seem to have a citadel, only some mundane furniture on the naked surface of the moon. The Watchit controls several realities from a TV set while sitting on a couch.[10]
Earth-90816[]
As Wolverine inadvertently stumbled into Uatu's abode, he allowed the X-Man to simply experience a myriad of temporal realities and then abandoned him in the Hyborian Age.[11]Residents
