History

Weapon X was a Government Program directed by U.S. Army Colonel William Stryker.

Under unknown circumstances, Stryker obtained Logan's body, previously found by Mystique, who was impersonating Stryker at that time.

In the Weapon X Facility at Alkali Lake, Stryker and his team bonded Logan's body with Adamantium, making him their personal Weapon X; Logan was then imprisoned, and later being freed by three mutant teenagers members of the X-Men.

While most of the Weapon X Program soldiers were killed by Logan, Stryker escaped the compound.
