History
Webber Torque was a student in Kitty Pryde's computer class. He was one of several students invited to a house party at the Xavier Institute when Professor Xavier, Scott Summers and Jean Grey were all absent. Mystique, disguised as the student Risty Wilde, took Webber to the Cerebro chamber and tricked him into downloading files on all the X-Men and New Mutants onto a disk for her.
Webber believed that Cerebro and, by extension, the mansion's entire computer network - was a highly advanced video game. He activated the Danger Room and lured the X-Men into it, believing that they were opposing players. He was eventually incapacitated by Rogue. When he woke up, the X-Men were angry at him until Xavier returned and explained that Webber truly believed it had all been a video game, at which point he was sent home.[1]Attributes
