 Sir, you're gonna have to spare me the comparisons to Nazi Germany because I'm not buying it. Since you were there you probably remember that most of the German forces were Wehrmacht - regular Army guys who simply fought an' died for their country. In other words, patriots fighting for the wrong cause.

The Wehrmacht was the armed forces of Nazi Germany, comprised of the Heer (army), Luftwaffe (airforce), and Kriegsmarine (navy) during World War II.

Notes

• Currently any comic involving the Nazi Party (particularly those produced in the Golden-Age) set during the events of World War II likely include members of the Wehrmacht. Whether the Nazi's continued this naming of their armed forces after their defeat at the end of the war is unknown.
