History
The Weird Happenings Organization is a British Military organisation set up by the twins Alistaire and Alysdane Stuart, based in the Tower of London. W.H.O’s mission is to investigate people, places, things and events that occur outside the normal realms of possibility, and to deal with them if needed. It investigated the arrival of Excalibur’s train in Euston Station in London, and on finding Nightcrawler’s picture, mistook him for their reality’s Nightcrawler, who was an agent of Imperial Prussia. It is more brutal than the equivalent on Earth-616, as Nightcrawler is beaten while he is interrogated at the Tower of London.[1]
Trivia
W.H.O was originally based on U.N.I.T, from the TV program Doctor Who, which was led by Brigadier Alistair Stewart, and was also based at the Tower of London.
