—Luther KaneBe reasonable, dear boy! I'm not asking Jack Russell to do the deed--I'm merely asking that you point the beast within you in the proper direction--and allow its natural instincts to take care of the rest!

Synopsis for "A Life for a Death"
Jack returns to Joshua Kane's estate to rescue Lissa, but is greeted there by Joshua's brother Luther, who says he could cure Lissa's curse if Jack kills billionaire Judson Hemp for him as the Werewolf. Jack reluctantly agrees, but when the Werewolf reaches Hemp, he turns out to be a gentlehearted, senile old man that the Werewolf doesn't want to kill. A well-timed lunar eclipse gives Jack a moment to come to his senses and escape Hemp's compound. The eclipse ends just as he returns to Kane's and the Werewolf's wrath turns on Lissa's captors.
