West Coast Avengers Vol 2 12

In this issue's story, Iron Man reminds Tigra that she has the amulet the Cat-People gave her, the one which leaves her outfit alone but changes her to look like her human self, Greer Nelson. Although the amulet has been part of her costume for many issues, that ability was last seen in West Coast Avengers #4 when Tigra used it to keep Graviton from seeing her as she really was so that she could look like a human woman while she impersonated Madame Masque. However, the footnote that states that the Cat-People gave Tigra that amulet in Giant-Size Creatures #1 is inaccurate because the sacred Cats-Head Ring that was part of the process that transformed Greer Nelson into Tigra and was able to temporarily allow her to reassume her human form stopped working when Tigra had completely adapted to her new body a little over 24 hours after being transformed.
- According to what Tigra told Simon Williams in West Coast Avengers #3, the amulet that she was then wearing was a parting gift from the Cat People who had been "gone" for over a year.
The Horseham Nuclear Plant in Diablo Canyon "up by San Luis Obispo" is probably a fictionalized counterpart of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant that exists in San Luis Obispo County in the real world. However, the Horseham Nuclear Power Plant has three containment domes while the Diablo Canyon Power Plant only has two domes.
