Synopsis
During a celebratory party hosted by Thor on Earth, Howard the Duck surprises everyone by marrying Darcy Lewis. The union takes an even stranger turn when the couple soon welcomes a child—an egg. Relishing their unconventional family life, they embark on an intergalactic cruise with the Grandmaster. However, their idyllic journey is interrupted when the Grandmaster steals the egg, intending to cook it for breakfast. Before he can succeed, Yondu Udonta snatches the egg, triggering a chaotic chase across the galaxy.
As Howard and Darcy pursue Yondu, Nick Fury and Phil Coulson intervene, revealing the egg’s extraordinary significance. Born during the rare cosmic alignment known as the Convergence, their child is destined for greatness and has attracted the attention of powerful factions across the universe. The situation escalates when Yondu delivers the egg to Kaecilius on Knowhere. Kaecilius, seeking to harness its latent power, kills Yondu and attempts to use the egg as a host body for Dormammu. S.H.I.E.L.D. launches an assault to secure the egg, but amidst the chaos, Howard and Darcy recover their child and flee to Jotunheim, seeking Loki’s protection. Their reprieve is short-lived as Laufey, Malekith, Zeus, and Thanos, along with the Black Order, converge on the icy realm in pursuit of the egg. A high-stakes chase ensues, pushing the couple to their limits. As their enemies close in, the egg suddenly emits a radiant golden glow, ascending into the sky. Pulsing with celestial energy, it releases a wave of power that subdues the pursuers. To everyone’s astonishment, the egg hatches into a unique human-duck hybrid, which Howard and Darcy lovingly name Byrdie.
Fury acknowledges that Byrdie belongs with her family and assures them that S.H.I.E.L.D. will ensure her safety from future threats. With the danger passed, Howard, Darcy, and Byrdie return to their unconventional but peaceful life, ready to embrace the adventures that await their extraordinary family.Trivia
