Quote1 I have often pondered the events that may have transpired if I had strictly followed the law of my brethren. Join me now as I witness the consequences had I simply abandoned Wolverine to one of the realms he journeyed through in my home--to an age undreamed of by man. Quote2

Synopsis for "What If... Wolverine Had Lived During the Age of Conan the Barbarian?"

After the X-Men challenged the Shi'ar Imperial Guard, Wolverine found himself in the Hyborian Age and met Red Sonja before fighting Conan the Barbarian, as they could not understand each other until Zukala cast a translation spell. After Zukala created a portal that would allow Wolverine to return to his own time and summoned Jaggta-Noga, the Mutant helped Conan fight the demon, although causing the Cimmerian to fall into the portal before it closed. Although Zukala offered to make another portal, Wolverine beheaded him before kissing Red Sonja and riding for Aquilonia with her. Meanwhile, Conan found himself on the Blue Area of the Moon, where he fought Raksor and Bel-Dann before encountering the X-Men and mistaking Jean for Sonya, moments before the redhead transformed into her dark persona and unleashed the full fury of the Phoenix.
