Synopsis for "What If? Wolverine Had Become The Lord of the Vampires?"
Wolverine killed Dracula and drank his blood before becoming the new lord of the vampires. His X-Vampires turned both humans and their fellow mutants into his vampire minions and he had Juggernaut kill Doctor Strange before the Sorcerer Supreme could discover the Montesi Formula and defeat them. Doctor Strange's astral form possessed the Punisher in order to retrieve the Darkhold and learn the Montesi Formula. While fighting Wolverine, the Punisher was separated from Doctor Strange and killed the vampire Kitty Pryde, angering the new Lord of Vampires, who subsequently killed him. As Wolverine felt two natures battling inside of him and tearing him apart, the astral form of Doctor Strange convinced him to choose the heritage of James Hudson, Charles Xavier, and Jean Grey over that of Dracula, Varnae, and Chthon. Wolverine used the Book of the Vishanti to kill himself, along with every vampire on Earth.
