Synopsis for "What If. . . Karen Page Had Lived?"

Karen Page survived Bulleye's attack, but became hospitalized. Daredevil became enraged that he came so close to losing her, and found out who provided the information that led to her attack, The Kingpin. He visited the Kingpin in his home at night, and killed him without thinking.

Shocked that he could end Wilson Fisk's life, Matt turned himself in to the police, and was brought to trial for the murder. Despite strong character witnesses such as Captain America and Doctor Strange, a Jury of his peers found him guilty, as they were unable to get over the idea of a man in a devil suit breaking into another man's home in the middle of the night and killing him.

He was sentenced to 44 years in prison, where the other prisoners ignored him since he killed the Kingpin. Foggy, Nick Fury, and agents of SHIELD all visited, but Karen never did. She left town and probably fell harder than she ever had before. No one ever heard from her again. Foggy was disbarred, and Matt was released after 15 years for good behavior.

Solicit Synopsis

The worst thing that ever happened to Daredevil was watching his one true love Karen Page die in his arms after a brutal attack by his archenemy Bullseye. The events that followed spiraled Matt Murdock's life out of control and he has never recovered. The award-winning team behind DD's monthly book join DD legends Kevin Smith and Joe Quesada in this shocking once-in-a-lifetime look at Daredevil.
