History

The Widowmaker was an assassin that worked for the villain Tuval who had trained for over thirty years in fighting. He was sent by Tuval to kill Captain America. Weakened by a treacherous mountain climb and many fights, Captain America was easily defeated by Widowmaker who pinned him to the ground and tried to smother him in the snow. Snowfall, a psychic Tuval was holding against her will, used her telepathy to trick Tuval into thinking that Widowmaker and Captain America were now allies. As Tuval lambasted Widowmaker over a loudspeaker, the confused assassin released Captain America, allowing him to knock out Widowmaker.
