History
Bill Kinmont was a catcher for the Portland Loggers baseball team, a team that regularly finished bottom of the league until one drunken evening they made a pact with a demon called Tul'uth who guaranteed they'd win 66.6% of their games in exchange for their souls and silence. The deal would last 30 years before Tul'uth would come to collect, during which the team won several championships and were sold and headed to the east coast. Unbeknownst to Bill and the team, the contract was tied to the stadium so after they left, they began to lose again. Sometime prior to the 30 years expiring, a new team took over the stadium called the Larks and Bill began to coach them. Tul'uth returned to collect "the Home Team" and forced Bill to watch as the Larks faced Tul'uth's demonically possessed away team as a game for their souls. During the match, Bill's granddaughter Casey brought Stephen Strange to see Bill. During their conversation Tul'uth appeared and Bill accused him of cheating so Tul'uth killed him.[1]
