History

William Stryker was a member of the Weapon X Program alongside Truett "The Professor" Hudson, who turns Logan's entire body into adamantium.

At some point after the program, he became the Secretary of Domestic Security and Defense, the organization which serves as the cover of the criminal organization Hydra, as Stryker as the leader. Also, at some point, William tries to get help from Charles Xavier, due to his son Jason's abilities, but he refused to help - a fact which turns Stryker into mad.

For this, he turns Jason into a powerful experiment named "Mutant 143", who manipulates mutants across the world - most notably Kurt Wagner.
