History

Wilson Fisk was one of the billions of humans who were turned into vampires in the V-Day. At some point in the two years following his turning, Fisk became the undisputed Vampire King of New York City, letting Blade hunt vampires in his territory to offer them protection in exchange for indentured servitude. Blade eventually began to act more violent, earning the King's ire for endangering his business. Intending to make the whole world bow down to him and take Blade off the board for good, Fisk began to develop a cure for vampirism. He eventually ordered Amadeus Cho, whom he had convinced to build his tech in exchange for blood, to encrypt it for him, believing the boy wouldn't figure out what he was working on.

In the second anniversary of V-Day, Cho ran away from Fisk Tower Zero and some minions of the King were sent after him, but they ended up being killed by Blade before they could fulfill their mission. Suspecting Cho would return and try to do something against him, Fisk bought a new elevator to replace the broken one the boy was aware of and had his men set an ambush there. When Cho finally returned, he tried to distract Fisk while the Last Avengers used the shaft where the broken elevator was to access the building, but his allies ended up being ambushed by the King's men. Fisk was about to deal with Cho when Blade gassed the whole building with aerosolized silver, killing most of the vampires there, including the King himself.[1]
