Synopsis for ""Tomorrow Dies Today" (Part 1)"

The story starts off with Jeffrey Winstone (Slag) introducing himself as a super-powered vigilante. Suddenly a Deathlok then confronts Slag a.k.a. Jeffery Winstone and neutralizes his target than proceeds to the next target. Meanwhile, Wolverine/Logan talks with a resurrected Steve Rogers and that it’s roughly been a year since he’s been gone. While both walk in the park an X-Plane lands and then Nightcrawler tells them that he will be their designated driver since both are going out to get drunk. In a bar Logan then tells Rogers that he’s got a woman. Eventually, Logan gets into a bar fight with some folks who were making fun of the song in which was playing on the jute-box. Elsewhere, coming out of a bar and grill Wendell and Amy Bryant, the parents of Todd Bryant a.k.a. the super-powered vigilante known as Buzzsaw are then neutralized by a Deathlok. Another Deathlok then breaks into a hospital and ends up killing some people along with the Bradberry twins. When Logan and Rogers return to the park, Logan is confronted by a girl who tells Logan about her crazy dreams and that the Deathloks are here to kill our future. A Deathlok then kills Winston Rowe a latent telepath then precedes to his next target. The Deathloks now have a new target “Captain America.”

"TOMORROW DIES TODAY" PART ONE Beginning an epic, action-packed arc featuring the debut of an all-new, all-different Deathlok. Killer cyborgs have come from the future to kill the heroes of today, while Wolverine embarks on an international pub crawl with a certain recently reborn Sentinel of Liberty. Beer and bullets galore!

  • The Tomorrow Dies Today story arc was adapted in a motion comic mini-series comprised of 6 episodes called Wolverine Weapon X: Tomorrow Dies Today. The mini-series was created by Marvel Knights Animation and released by Shout! Factory on DVD in May 13, 2014.
