Overview
The Woodstock Music & Art Fair or, the Woodstock Festival was a music festival in the United States in 1969. It attracted an audience of over 400,000. Scheduled for August 15th on a dairy farm in the Catskill Mountains of southern New York, northwest of New York City, it ran over to Monday, August 18th.
Events
In August 1969, The Woodstock Festival in Woodstock, White Lake, New York becomes an enormously successful musical and cultural gathering.[1]
Jimi Hendrix headlined the festival and his performance was witnessed by the Clan Destine who were in vacation in the United States. A time-travelling Johnny Storm arrived just before the performance.[2]
