Despite her plea, X-Factor intervenes, and Lila convinces the K'lanti to give her a chance to retrieve the Harmonium.
Lila, Guido, and Polaris teleport to Cygnus Prime, where Lila sold the Daedalus wing. They find the Harmonium in a junkyard but are attacked by a mechanical monster. Meanwhile, Havok, Forge, and Wolfsbane deal with diamond bombs which the K'lanti placed all over Madripoor - just in case if Lila were not succesful retrieving the Harmonium.
But Lila gets the Harmonium and hands it over to the K'lanti. But the disgruntled aliens leave on bomb for Lila and Guido absorbs the energy from the resulting explosion. His muscles grow uncontrollably, endangering his life. Lila tries to save him, but his body is too large for CPR. In the midst of the crisis, reality starts to shift. As the foundation of the past has been sabotaged, the world as X-Factor knows it comes to an end ...
