Synopsis for "Homecomings"

In Toronto, Canada, Northstar and Puck discover that Aurora has gone missing. She had recently been struggling with her mental health and infatuation.

Meanwhile, in Virginia, Wild Child is enjoying a carefree ride on his dirt bike. Kyle, once handsome but now mutated, recalls his past love with Aurora and how his change in appearance drove him to leave her. During his ride, Aurora suddenly appears and attacks him, exhibiting unusual powers. She claims he shouldn't have left her, and a chase ensues. Aurora's erratic behavior worries Kyle, and he decides to escape her.

At X-Factor HQ, Valerie Cooper escorts the captive Mystique for a neural implant check. Forge is repairing a holographic matrix projector for Bishop which "contains" his sister Shard. Mystique flirts with Forge as they leave for their examination.

Somewhere else, the Dark Beast monitors Random who is driving in his sportscar. Random reflects on his mutation and wonders if he should accept the Dark Beast's offer to become whole again. The Dark Beast plots to capture Alex Summers who was a formidable adversary in his own timeline.

Back at Fall's Edge, Aurora continues her attacks on Wild Child. Puck and Northstar intervene, and the same goes for X-Factor. Mystique tries to end the conflict using her shape-shifting powers and posing as Kyle, but she is stopped by the real Wild Child. He shares his past with Aurora and his guilt over leaving her. Aurora becomes confused as her alternate personality emerges, and she attacks everyone. In the end, Aurora's powers intensify, leading to her collapse. Northstar flies away with his unconscious sister, warning Wild Child to stay away.
