Synopsis for "Apocalypse vs. Dracula (Part 4)"

Transylvania, 1897: Dracula is not amused that Hamilton Slade was not able to kill his “false god” Apocalypse. Hamilton’s mother Margaret is not fond of Dracula’s patronizing manner. When her own son rips out her throat out, Hamilton clearly shows that his loyalty only lies with Dracula now.

Meanwhile, Apocalypse, Ozymandias, Jack Starsmore and van Helsing are being teleported into the town which lies beneath Dracula’s castle by Frederick Slade. First, they are attacked by the townsfolk who always support Dracula. The humans can be driven away, but Apocalypse already shows that he is weakened because he was bitten by a vampire back in London. Second, Dracula himself shows up and commands the animals nearby to attack the intruders. Apocalypse comes out on top again, but Dracula goats En Sabah Nur to come to his castle if he wants to fight him personally.

Apocalypse has summoned his army of Dark Riders and attacks the castle of his opponent. While he enters through the front gate, his entourage once again uses Frederick’s teleportation powers to get into the castle. Hamilton Slade finds them and, after throwing Ozymandias out of a window, duels himself with Starsmore. Slade is victorious, but when he wants to bite Starsmore, his brother Frederick just grabs his head and teleports it away from the rest of his body.

At the same time, it looks as if Apocalypse cannot overcome the power of Dracula. But as van Helsing throws a potion of holy water into Dracula’s face, Apocalypse benefits from the distraction. He stabs Dracula through the heart and the decapitates him. En Sabah Nur is not pleased with van Helsing’s interference, but he lets the mortal live.

Later, Ozymandias ensures the continued existence of Clan Akkaba by bringing together Frederick Slade and a woman named Miss Ferguson. While Apocalypse thinks the clan is destroyed, Ozymandias will use the clan in the coming centuries.

Egypt, present day: Remembering Apocalypse’s fight with Dracula, Ozymandias is more than ever convinced that the blood of Apocalypse possesses immense rejuvenating powers. As he is about to awaken Apocalypse from his slumber, he thinks now is the time for En Sabah Nur to serve him …
