Synopsis
Cyclops, still in mourning after Phoenix's death, quits the X-Men and returns to the orphanage he grew up in and encounters his friend Sarah. Cyclops suspects foul play of Zebediah Killgrave, Sarah's wealthy benefactor as he begins to adopt mutant children for an unknown purpose.
Notes
- Originally this episode and "Longshot" were meant for season 3, but due to animation problems and delays, they were held back until season 5. Consequently, Jean Grey's return was not properly explained. "A Deal with the Devil" was planned for season 4 but was also held back.
- These three episodes are listed on Disney+ in their correct order, instead of during season 5 when they aired.
