Synopsis
In the future, the mutant Apocalypse has created clones of the X-Men to do his bidding. The player is a cyborg who works for Magneto and must destroy the clones.
Notes
- X-Men: The Ravages of Apocalypse was a commercially released mod for use with the game engine of the 1996 computer game Quake. Instead of the normal monsters featured in the game, "cyborg clones" of popular X-Men characters, both heroes and villains, attack the player.
- Being a Quake mod, RoA required a registered copy of Quake to be played.
- The game was released as freeware in 2006 and made into a standalone game. The source code was later released as well.
