Quote1 They completely bought it. I'm a genius. Like Tony Stark or Reed Richards. But if they were awesome. No one has any idea of the double life Anole and I are leading. Wait. That came out wrong. The truth is, Anole and me...we are pimps. Super hero pimps. Quote2

Stepford Cuckoos (Earth-616) from X-Men To Serve and Protect Vol 1 2 0002

The Stepford Cuckoos are sitting in Central Park when they mentally overhear the thoughts of a would be bank robber. They follow him to the bank where he meets up with the rest of the robbers. After the robbery begins, they come up behind the robbers and remark that this is going to be easy. Spider-Man overhears the ensuing fire and swings in quickly to help, only to find that the Cuckoos used their mental powers to subdue the robbers and are making them dance. They tell him that they have things under control and that the police have been alerted. Freaked out by the sight of dancing robbers, Spider-Man starts knocking them out. The rest beg him to do so to them which he does. After he swings away, the Cuckoos merely dismiss his behavior as him not used to talking to girls, and walk off. Laughing, they say it was fun helping people and that they should do it more often.
