Synopsis for "Worlds Apart Part 1"
While Storm and Cyclops are exploring the Morlock Tunnels, Cyclops questions Storm about her divided loyalty between Wakanda and the X-Men. During their argument, Storm receives a call that there has been a death in Wakanda and she must deal with it since King T'Challa is away. Storm leaves Scott and arrives in Wakanda only to be informed by N'Gassi that the death is actually a murder and the X-Man student, Gentle, has been caught on tape killing a Wakandan shaman.
Storm reviews the security footage and sees Nezhno winking at the camera. Suspicious, she questions Nezhno and releases him after seeing that he does not know how to wink. After she releases him, they are confronted outside by the Wakandan army, Black Panther, and the Dora Milaje. T'Challa tells the waiting crowd that marrying Storm was a mistake and turns to wink at her. Storm is then drawn into the Astral Plane by the true enemy, the Shadow King.
