History

The X-Men survived a nuclear war, but were mutated further by the radiation fallout. Following the war, the X-Men became a terrorist organization bent on the genocide of the human race. When Lord Spider stole the last sample of nonirradiated human DNA, they chased him across the Queens Crater to get it back.
