History

After the deaths of most of the original X-Men, Wolverine (Logan) formed a new group of X-men to resist the rule of Master Mold. Wolverine was later captured by Master Mold and thought dead, after which Lucas Bishop replaced him as leader. Bishop lead an operation to infiltrate a mutant concentration camp, with Vanisher and Berzerker (Ray Carter) on the outside. Once awakened in the future, Charles Xavier was captured and imprisoned in the same camp.

There he met a lot of mutants, including Bishop, who was leading a new version of the X-Men. He lead them in breaking out of the camp and retrieving Cerebro. Among the mutants rescued was Julian Keller, the only telekinetic who had not been wiped out by Master Mold.
