Synopsis for "Who wants to date a millionaire?"
The X-Men and Quicksilver discover that Warren has been seeing Wanda.
Solicit Synopsis
The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants are our sworn enemies!
They want to make conquerors of Homo Superior, and we X-Men stand against that—especially when they use young mutants like that Scarlet Witch!
Isn't that right, Angel! Angel...?Notes
- This story is set after X-Men #11 and Strange Tales #128. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch do not mention the Avengers, and she has told Angel of their plan to leave the United States, so it is set before the twins return to the United States and join the Avengers in Avengers #16.
- Angel is infatuated with Scarlet Witch from the moment he first sees her in X-Men #4. She and Quicksilver turned down X-Men membership in X-Men #11; Marvel Girl feared that Scarlet Witch was romantically interested in Cyclops, but this issue establishes that she was staring at Angel, and vice versa.
Trivia
- A piece of Kryptonite is on display in one of the halls of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. Kryptonite is traditionally Superman's weakness in the DC Universe.
