Synopsis for "Fire on the Mountains!"

While the X-Men fight the Sentinel they encountered in the Andes Mountains, Kitty Pryde and Nightcrawler bring Colonel Nick Fury out of the line of fire. Jean Grey holds off the Sentinel's blasts. Kitty re-enters the fight by using her acquired claw to slice through the Sentinel's feet. Beast blinds the Sentinel using some machetes he recovered from the uniforms of the dead agents. Elsewhere, three members of the Consortium watch the battle and discuss their Sentinel's performance.

The X-Men and Nick Fury advance into the jungle and find a large laboratory. At the Xavier Mansion, 'Ro wanders the halls and contemplates whether she really belongs there. Remy encourages her to give it more time. The X-Men find the sole resident of the laboratory, the genetic anthropologist Zigfried. Beast notices that a logo on one of the lab equipment matches the one used by Storm's allies in New York.

At the X-Mansion, Professor X and Cyclops equip an ankle bracelet to Sabretooth to make sure he stays in line. A moment later, Nick receives word that there is another attack on a nearby village. The X-Men leave and Nick Fury volunteers to look after the civilian. Zigfried pulls a gun on Fury and reveals that she is the daughter of Bolivar Trask, the creator of the Sentintels.
