Synopsis for "Seeds of Trouble"
Melody Maxwell discovers her mutant ability is make plants grow but finds herself unable to stop it. She contacts the X-Men and Storm and Wolverine visit her and help her develop her abilities to both grow and shrink plants on command. Later that day, Melody takes the pair to her school flower show but is knocked into some venus fly traps and causes them to grow to an immense size and attack. The fly traps overwhelm Wolverine and Storm, so melody trys to shrink it but is unsuccessful. To defeat the fly trap, Melody instead grows another flower which traps the fly trap. Returning home, Melody asks to join the X-Men but they tell her she needs more time to develop her abilities.
