Synopsis for "Big Trouble in Little Italy!"
The X-Babies, continue their escapades in the crowded streets of New York City. A kindly priest named Father Anthony approaches the X-Babies and offers his assistance. They explain their situation, claiming they fled from the Mojoverse after being attacked by two menacing creatures. However, Father Anthony is skeptical of their story and tries to calm them down.
Just as the situation becomes dire, the gigantic creatures, Gog and MaGog, arrive and threaten the X-Babies. But Gambit and Bishop from the X-Men arrive just in time to engage Gog and MaGog, determined to protect the X-Babies.
Meanwhile, back at the bookstore in New York City, the X-Babies Storm and Iceman continue to bicker. Jean Grey and Iceman try to mediate, with Jean using her psionic powers to maintain a facade of normalcy in the store.
As the battle against Gog and MaGog rages on, Bishop and Gambit manage to hold their own against the menacing foes but are still at a disadvantage. Just when it appears that all hope is lost, Iceman and Phoenix arrive to help. Together, they work as a team to freeze Gog and MaGog in a solid block of ice, temporarily neutralizing the threat.
However, the situation takes a surprising turn when former X-Men member Dazzler intervenes. She commands Gog and MaGog to kneel before her. She rescues the X-Babies and reprimands the giant creatures for their actions. Dazzler informs the X-Babies about the changing political landscape in the Mojoverse and offers to protect them. The X-Babies bid farewell to the X-Men, with Dazzler promising to keep them safe.
Meanwhile at Xavier's mansion, Professor Xavier speaks to Boom-Boom about his decision regarding Sabretooth.
Trivia
- In X-Men #11, Dazzler told them she was pregnant; however, she is not in this issue.
