Synopsis for "A Rogue By Any Other Name"
Kitty Pryde and Bobby Drake are returning to their dorm rooms at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters when they are attacked by a feral Rogue. The pair are helped by Cyclops (Scott Summers) and Storm, who reveal she has absorbed some of Wolverine's personality and they fear it may be permanent. Storm uses her powers to guide her to roof so they can enact her plan. Meanwhile, Professor X is meeting with Magneto in his prison and discuss their differences and Charles wants to discuss the future. Back with the X-Men, Jean Grey uses her abilities to delve into her mind and help's Rogue separate the two personalities. Rogue returns to normal and asks how Wolverine is doing, who is lying unconscious in the medical bay.
Notes
- This story takes place after Wolverine saves Rogue's life by having her absorb his healing ability in the first X-Men film, but before Jean finds Wolverine has fully recovered.
- In the film, Jean mentioned to Wolverine that Rogue "took on a few of his more charming personality traits for a while." This comic in turn is a take on what happened.
