Synopsis for "X-Men vs Brood: Day of Wrath (Part 1)"
Hannah Connover experiences a vivid dream where the Brood Empress demands her allegiance, revealing the Brood's nefarious plans for universal domination. As Jean Grey and Scott Summers vacation nearby, Jean is psychically affected by Hannah's distressing dream. Concerned, they decide to contact Professor Xavier who assembles Beast, Bishop, Cannonball, Iceman, Storm and Wolverine to support Cyclops and Phoenix.
Meanwhile, Hannah, a healer turned Brood Queen, grapples with her guilt and conflicted feelings. She recalls her transformation, her sinister actions, and the moment her humanity resurfaced. Josey Thomas, another Brood agent, aligns with the Firstborn, elite Brood assassins, to eliminate Hannah. But after Thomas has served her purpose, the Firstborn kill her.
Phoenix traces the Brood's psychic trail to Reverend William Connover's camp. However, Hannah, now struggling to maintain her humanity, attempts to leave unnoticed. The Firstborn confront her, leading to a deadly clash. The rest of the X-Men arrive in time to battle the formidable Firstborn to protect Hannah and prevent a massacre. Amid the chaos, Hannah pleads with the X-Men to end her life, fearing the consequences of her existence. The X-Men face moral dilemmas as they grapple with the Brood threat and the potential salvation or demise of Hannah Connover.
