History
X-Squad were a group of soldiers who were considered too zealous for the army and recruited by Gideon Mace into his own personal army. After Luke Cage was captured by Burgundy and Mace, he was brought to Mace's base where he was guarded by X-Squad. After Cage defeated Mace, he demanded the X-Squad disband.[1]
