Synopsis for "Back From the Dead (Part 5): Lacuna and the Stars"

After Lacuna was shot, Guy levitated up to a rooftop, defeated the sniper, and attempted to gain answers from him before the gunman exploded. Later, Guy visited Lacuna in a hospital and met her parents, who were angry at him and ordered him to leave. In the X-Statix Building, his teammates watched Lacuna being shot on the news before Guy returned to her hospital room with Myles, who read a list of lawyers in L.A. to get a response out of her that would allow them to search for documents that incriminated them.

As the team searched the building of Williams, Williams, and Williams, a lawyer named John Williams entered and revealed that he had copies of the documents they were looking for. Later, the media reported that Spike Freeman and X-Statix had illegaly sold chemicals to Saddam Hussein and had engaged in other illegal transactions. Guy declared that they needed to win back the hearts of the American people by doing something "spectacular" and had an idea what to do when the media reported on Mister Code. As Dead Girl held Spike's corpse in her arms, she visited him in the afterlife and learned about his ties to Mister Code.

Then, they contacted the media before attacking Mister Code and his forces. As Guy fought Mister Code, the latter snapped Henrietta's neck with a baton. Guy levitated into the air, carrying Mister Code, then dropped him towards the ground. Then, Guy attempted to unmask Mister Code before learning that he was a bomb about to explode.
