History

Xiang Yao (Chinese: 相繇, Xiāngyáo) is the serpent guardian of Peng Lai who, like Shou-Lao of K'un-Lun, must be defeated and drained of its chi to earn the right to join the ranks of the Seven Immortal Weapons. He fought Fat Cobra who, two days after his first attempt to defeat Xiang Yao, washed up on the shores of the Chinese mainland while beaten to a pulp. Cobra fought the beast again after years of combat, but was defeated again and left paralyzed and legless, spending the next two years at a medical facility healing from his wounds. After years of being hunted by and killing his own illegitimate children, Cobra fought Xiang Yao once again and managed to finally kill the beast and took his chi for his own.
