Yadar was the word used by Vacharn to light from afar the lamps of his house of the Isle of Na'at.[2]

Yadar was created by Clark Ashton Smith in "Necromancy in Naat", adapted by Roy Thomas in "The Necromancers of Na'at" (Conan the Savage #10, May, 1996). Yadar was replaced in the adaptation by Conan, but was still homaged as an activation word (mentioned but not revealed in the original story) for Vacharn's lamps.[3]
