History

Whilst Mister Jip was searching for candidates with black souls, who are low in light, of which, he was required to supplant, Mister Jip resented the amount of time it took from his studies. To alleviate these time constraints, Mister Jip conjured Yipyap.

He said of his creation:

 Their primary purpose being to locate and observe those with ebon souls so that I may select an appropriate "host" for my use at the proper time.

During Mister Jip's plot to kidnap Dagger, Yipyap was used as a messenger to deliver a note to Cloak on behalf of Mister Jip. and later by Mister Jip's thrall Night when she needed to tell her master that she had captured Dagger.
