| HistoryText = Yu-Huang was born long ago as the crown prince of the the PUre Blissful Kingdom of Lofty Heavenly Lights and Ornaments. When he became king Yu-Huang's reign was marked by his wisdom and compassion for even the lowliest of society. After ruling for years and setting his kingdom in order he abdicated his thrown to meditate and study Taoism. After many eons he achieved godhood and was raised to be one of the Xian. Due to his compassion and humility as a ruler he became the direct assistant to Yuanshi Tianzun, the Celestial Master of the Primordial Beginning and lord of the Xian. Eventually, Yu Huang succeeded his master as the supreme administrator of the heavens being given the title of "Jade Emperor." He ruled over the Xian and its immense bureaucracy promoting or demoting gods based on their performance.
