History

Months before and after Apocalypse's takeover, Deathstrike married her former nemesis, Wolverine, but they divorced soon after. After Deathstrike joined Apocalypse, Wolverine joined the Defenders, to stop Apocalypse. Deathstrike's alliance with Apocalypse drove Wolverine mad, and she had to be killed by Nathan Summers in order to end Wolverine's madness.
