History
Zabu was one of a pair of Smilodon who served as pets/cohorts of Ka-Zar and Shanna, and has proved to be a valuable ally. Ka-Zar was somehow able to sense Zabu's thoughts, and naturally, Zabu was a fierce creature and combatant.
Zabu assisted Wolverine, Shanna and Ka-Zar in neutralizing Madrox during the Ultimatum crisis.[1]Notes
Out of the several appearances of Zabu and the other cat, Zabu is only explicitly named once, the other cat is never identified by name.
