Zartros was a Quarlian Gnome who was married to a Quarlian woman, which displeased her people. He was captured and imprisoned where he met Ka-Zar.[1] He was forced by Queen Tandylla to fight Ka-Zar in the arena, but they managed to escape together.[2] They were both captured by Quarlian warrior Raknor, but managed to escape once again, liberating Tandylla.[3]
