Personal History

Zeb Wells is a comic book writer known for his work on Marvel's Heroes for Hire (Vol. 2) and Civil War: Young Avengers and Runaways and various Spider-Man titles, including Spider-Man/Doctor Octopus: Year One and several issues of Peter Parker: Spider-Man.

He was one of the writers who contributed stories to the Brand New Day-era of Amazing Spider-Man, notably the Lizard-focused arc titled "Shed."

More recently, he wrote Hellions as part of the X-Men's Dawn of X line, before joining the "Beyond" storyline of Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 5). Afterward, he became the sole writer of Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 6).

Wells also moved onto Marvel Studios, writing one episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, The Marvels, Deadpool & Wolverine and being the creator of Marvel Zombies.
